The Easter Bunny
Madeline: Is the Easter Bunny real?
Me: What do you think?
Madeline: Yes. Is He?
Me: No.
Madeline: Then who puts the toys out?
Me: Someone who really loves you pretends to be the Easter Bunny and puts the things out. Can you imagine who that might be?
Madeline: Santa???
This coversation REALLY cracked me up. I went on to tell her that it wasn't Santa, that it was Ken and I. She made a really goofy face while she processed that and then moved on. I wonder how much longer she will believe in Santa...

Oh, SO sweet. And, can I admit that I hope that conversation is a LONG way away in our house? That will just make me too sad. :(
Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy....oh dear. The falacies of childhood are intense! Thank goodness we only have to burst one tiny bubble at a time.
What? There's no Easter Bunny?
:0)
Classic, this is where great moments in movies come from - real life :)

I can only hope this conversation took place in the presence of some other children I know! :)
