Soaking up the Love
Madeline has been fighting a fever since Friday morning. Talk about a laid back girl! I have never seen her so still. She doesn't seem to be suffering...she isn't grouchy or crying or whining...I've been able to soak up the love. I am so thankful that her fever came on Friday of a three day weekend. It made the logistics that working parents have to struggle over almost non-existant. Ken did have to cover for me on Friday morning but after that I was able to hang out and enjoy my snuggle bug.
This morning I woke up with burning lungs. Ouch. And I am really tired too. I think Emma will have to take care of both Madeline and me. Right now she is running around in the back yard with a neighbor girl. I told them they had to play outside because I didn't want to take a chance of spreading Madeline's fever to our friend. It is a nice day outside...almost spring like.
Whoa... Madeline just fell asleep next to me on the couch. I better take advantage of the moment and go to sleep myself.
