LOVIN' IT!

This year is rolling along beautifully! Emma is in choir and loving it. She sings all the time. I pull up to the school in the morning and she hops out at the curb, even when we don't have a friend along. Her teacher makes her laugh a lot, and is serious about the kids learning the math facts. Her energy is good, she is getting to sleep at a reasonable hour and waking up most mornings without me having to torment her.

Madeline is happy at school and comfortable enough to be herself there (which is why a note was sent home to me last week). She is an independent gal who insisted on picking the littlest green pumpkin she could find at the pumpkin patch even when her teachers were encouraging her to find a bigger one. She thinks she is the fastest kid in the class, as fast as the teacher's son, a 1st or 2nd grader.

My work is great this quarter. I have classes that I enjoy and learn something new almost every day. I like running around all day, it keeps me from falling into the depths of exhaustion.

hmmm... what else to say....

Jack is good but his breath isn't. What do dog owners do to keep those gross mouths fresh?
Ken is coming home at an almost normal hour these days... we'll see how long that lasts.
We have grass everywhere in the yard where we rototilled in May...took all summer, once piece of yard at a time.
Mom and Dad are in Idaho... I like it better when they are here. I moved back to my home town for a reason!! ;)
I should be working right now but I can't make myself do it.
My entire kitchen table is covered with clean laundry.
My cell phone is ringing and I am not answering it.

More in another month... or maybe sooner.
