Yam Pie
Well, I made Yam pies on Tuesday night. Yuuuummmmmy! All I ate on Wednesday (not counting the 2 bites of pineapple that I had when I was chopping it for my mom) was yam pie. I had it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all of the little snacks in between. I didn't even get sick of it. If I hadn't ran out I would have had it for breakfast on Thanksgiving morning.
Yesterday was an awesome family day. There was a lot of good food! My mom's house was packed with people that I love. The children played all day with their cousins. My family has always been close. We cousins played A LOT growing up. We celebrated our holidays together and spent weeks together in the summers. We still are close (even though our spouses make it a challenge to be at every moment of every holiday together). Luckily, we have managed to pop out our kidlings on compatible schedules so that most all of them have playmates when they are together. Even littlest Alton (3mo) has a playmate growning in Beth as we speak. They will be less than a year apart.
Ken has stolen the camera for his hunting outings. It makes me feel less motivated to blog because I love posting the pictures.
The girls are at my side making it clear that they would rather be what is on my lap. I'll post some pictures later...probably early next week. I'm heading over the pass to Seattle tonight. I work all weekend at Sorenson.
