Spring Vacation!
Without a doubt a week for recovery and fun. Lots of play dates for the girls. Lots of clean up around the house (I am counting that as fun because it feels so good to get caught up). Good fun at the park. Cherished time hanging with my dad while he drywalled the stairway (with a little bit of help from me but not much). Late nights. Lots of coffee with organic half and half that my mom dropped by for me (I called mom and asked her to bring me a tiny bit of half and half when she dropped by if she had any because I was out but had just brewed a full pot of coffee. She showed up with a brand new organic half and half. She doesn't even buy organic for herself. When she spoils someone she goes all out!) I have lost track of the days like you do on vacation. Tuesday feels like Saturday.
Tonight I am off to church for a class that I am taking. Ken always makes it home on time on Thursdays. He is my rock star.
Today Madeline got 4 shots and Emma got one. The afternoon has been trying for Madeline, her legs are really sore. Emma was a trooper. I was glad she went first so Madeline could see that shots were not too scary. Had Madeline gone first it might have affected Emma's experience negatively. Madeline is sure that she never wants to get shots again. She wasn't satisfied with "not until you are five". She is kindergarten ready (as far as immunizations go) but they are recommending Hep A vaccinations here and I think I will let her have them.
Oh, one more thing... if you live here in E-burg, go to Ingrid Ellis for a massage. She is really good. I think I'm going to start getting one every few months. Ahhhh.
