We are Back!!
We had such a nice time in Vancouver and Victoria. What a blessing to have friends willing to let us stay at their place (thanks Marcell and Page). Ken and I enjoyed really tasty food (my highest priority on any trip) and shopping.
The girls didn't seem to miss us too much. My mom has such a nurturing way about her which makes going on vacation easy on the heart. Jack stayed with Grandma too and enjoyed eating from the Christmas tree (glass balls)...scary.
Life is hopping along, moving closer to Christmas at a rapid pace. I love it. The Christmas tree is up. It feels happy in the house. I just cooked my first meatless meatloaf and even Madeline liked it (thanks again Page). And, I warmed some milk on the stove instead of using the microwave. I was skeptical about the true harm in using a microwave but Marcell sent me some information that made me want to use one less often.
That is all for now. I need to hand the computer over to Ken so that he can post a blog. It must have been about a month since he has had the time. You can check his blog out at www.wiredarchitect.blogspot.com.

Sounds like you and Ken had a wonderful vacation. I am just trying to catch up on your blog, and I LOVE that you are going into Emma's class and teaching ASL. I am jealous. If we are ever closer, will you come into my classroom? Miss you tons my dear friend!
